Plan Manager, LPL Financial
In her role as Plan Manager at LPL Financial, Terry supports Olson Wealth Group where she assists in developing and executing comprehensive financial plans. Terry supports Olson Wealth Group by analyzing and assisting in the implementation of strategies relating to tax, insurance, cash flow, estate planning, second-generation clients, and creative retirement planning. Terry also partners with Olson Wealth Group to deliver back-office planning support by providing detailed data analysis and comprehensive planning strategies to assist clients in pursuing their financial goals.
Terry’s financial services career began in 1988 where she served various roles in banking, accounting, and financial planning prior to joining LPL Financial in 2023. Terry received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tulane University and is a CFP® practitioner. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Terry has worked in the financial services industry for over twenty years holding roles in banking, accounting, and wealth management. Before joining LPL, she worked as a financial planner for an RIA based in Asheville, NC, Modera Wealth, and its predecessor Parsec Financial. In that role for four years, she worked closely with the firm’s financial advisors to develop holistic financial plans for their clients. Before working in wealth management, she had six years of experience preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns at a regional CPA firm. To round out her experience, Terry began her career in financial services as a banker with a large national bank, working over 10 years in different client-facing roles.
She and her husband live in Morganton, North Carolina where they raised their two children. They enjoy walking on the local greenway and keeping up with their children’s adventures in adulting.
